It's Beginning to Look Alot Like Easter

The Easter egg hunt was a bust. The boys wouldn't go in the snow because they were afraid to get snow in their boots. To salvage the holiday we had a rousing snow ball fight followed by a creation by Derek of the great Snow Bunny. Whatever the weather we can remember He is Still Risen!

Rock Stars

We've been rockin' out. Tyler assigns a bass player and an electric guitar player and then they jam. I have repaired leaks in these inflatable guitars several times. They are a favorite play thing. As I write they are in front of the TV watching Rush's live concert DVD jamming along.

We're Walkin' Yes Indeed

We took our first family walk of the season today. A glorious day of 45 degrees ABOVE ZERO! It is nice to see neighbors, who, like us, have spent the winter in hibernation. Allie took a nice nap in the stroller while the boys pedaled through inch deep puddles. Ahhh, let the fun begin!

Mama's Girl

Although I have come to embrace all things pink, I am excited to see Allie playing with her tools. Perhaps in the midst of tea parties and toe nail paintings we can still do oil changes.

Chuck E Cheese

We made our first trip to Chuck E. Cheese last week. It was so much fun. We blew way too many tokens in order to win 10 cent suckers. I must confess the greed and competitiveness that I thought had fizzled away when I had kids reared its ugly head. I checked all the slots for abandoned tickets and was constantly on the lookout for dropped tokens. What a rush!

Tenting It

What else are we gonna do when stuck inside for four months? We have been building forts like crazy! This week we added a pup tent. We played camping with our friend Faith.

Well, what words can truly describe the hair-do below? no much, but WOW! Allie was really wanting to try something "daring and provacative". And somehow when the smile comes you can't help but say "she's sooooooooooooo cute!"
